We are a growing Catholic community in the heart of the beautiful Texas Hill Country. We aspire to express the Good News of Jesus Christ in today's society. Jesus, Bread of eternal life, came down from heaven and was made flesh thanks to the faith of Mary Most Holy. After having borne him with ineffable love in herself, she followed him faithfully unto the Cross and to the resurrection. Let us ask Our Lady to help us rediscover the beauty of the Eucharist, to make it the center of our life, especially at Sunday Mass and in adoration. (Angelus—June22, 2014)
Welcome
Please welcome new members Audrey and Mike Curry who have recently moved here from Midland.
Pontifical Good Friday Collection
Each year the Holy Father asks every Catholic parish around the world to take up a Collection on Good Friday to keep a Christian presence in the Holy Land. This year, help is needed more than ever. The Collection supports the works of the Franciscans in the sacred shrines, ministers to the parishes, provides formation and education in communities and schools and cares for the basic needs of people in the Holy Land. With your help, the Franciscans can continue to be a light of hope to those living in darkness in the Holy Land.
“The men, the age and its needs demand depend on a greater infusion of the Holy Spirit into the soul; and the Church has been already prepared for this event.” (CA, 28)(November 15, 1843; Diary, 148)
If you have asked Father Hecker to pray for you or another person who is ill, and you believe something miraculous has happened, phone Father Paul Robichaud, CSP, at 212-265-3209 x350 and tell him your story.
